“Con crud”? Lemme guess; what ever bug or bugs that leaping around the con from guests that should’ve stayed home?
Yeah, con-crud is the catch-all term for the coldflu that inevitably happens when you have so many people with so many different germ clouds overlapping.
From what I’ve heard from a few people who went to conventions earlier this year that still were doing the “everyone masks, no one who popped positive for covid in [infection period] days prior to event can attend” kind of heavy health-safety restrictions, they didn’t get any con-crud for a change (likely owing to the masks keeping air-and-fluid born ick still with the people who had that).
